We are looking to hire 1 full time RDN.
RD's would start part time and ideally become full time after 2-3 months.
Looking for consistently highly motivated, passionate RDN's to grow personally, professionally and eager to expand their knowledge/skill set in the integrative space.
Prefer Registered Dietitians who have experience with 1 to 1 nutritional counseling in an outpatient setting greater than 1 yr.
Willing to interview RD'S with strong interpersonal and motivational interviewing skills if having less than 1 yr experience.
Prefer experience in functional/integrative medicine, knowledge of supplementation.
RDN MUST be driven to take coursework, attend lectures, seminars, webinars recommended to expand knowledge in the integrative/functional medicine space.
Responsibilities will include providing medical nutrition therapy, utilizing various assessment and diagnostic tools (nutrition focused physical exam, micronutrient/lab/stool/gene testing) (RDN will be given training) and appropriate interventions/counseling based on results.
RDN will need to prepare and update client's chart for each visit using EMR system and when appropriate, communicate with referring physician and/or other members of the client's health care team by speaking over the phone and/or faxing own notes.
In addition to 1 to 1 visits, RD will assist practice, such as create and update client education materials, attend regular meetings and build/run group programs.
Schedule/Hrs:
Requesting part time RDN to work full time- 40 hrs week.
RDN's schedule would be 8-4 pm, 9-5 pm or 10-6 pm on various days during the week.
RDN can see patients in person and/or via telehealth in the office or at home.
Payment/
Benefits:
RDN will earn $28-$33 hr at full time status and have the opportunity to make commission, bonuses.
After 2 years of full time status, RD will be given $ towards CEU's and after 1 year will be offered a 401 k.
We not offer health insurance at this time.
This may change as Root Health Nutrition and Wellness expands.
Commitment:
RDN must NOT be working in private practice for self or for other RDN's while working with Root Health Nutrition and Wellness.
Applicants are for serious candidates looking to commit to a minimum of a 3 year contract.
If hired, the first 90 days are considered an Introductory period.
RDN will be required to meet performance requirements during this time to ensure a good fit for both RDN and Root Health Nutrition and Wellness.
