4K a year A Woman's Place is a private OBGYN practice with three offices located in Little Silver, Colts Neck and Lakewood, NJ.
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our busy and growing practice.
This position is responsible for providing a positive patient experience and maintaining a steady patient flow throughout the day.
The ideal candidate would be a professional, highly motivated, mature, and dependable individual with prior medical office experience.
Candidate should have an ambitious work ethic, team spirit, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Check in / check out Answering phones and accurately documenting / routing messages Scheduling / rescheduling appointments Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits Filing, faxing, scanning, and sorting documents Other clerical duties as assigned Required Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required Previous medical receptionist experience or background in general office required Demonstrates a clear understanding of the importance of patient satisfaction Excellent phone etiquette Proficient computer skills Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems Attention to accuracy and details Ability to multitask and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and in a team environment The current open position is in our Little Silver office; however, flexibility to rotate to other office locations on an as needed basis preferred.
Salary commensurate with experience.
